SELF ACTUALIZE
ACHIEVE GROWTH
SERVING A NEED
The value of PhD Qualifications to a country cannot be gainsaid. For example, numerous research efforts globally conclude professors with PhD qualification perform much better in achieving a university mandate than those without. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of lecturers in Kenya do not hold doctoral credentials in the respective areas they teach and research in; making the quality of their output questionable. Many officers holding national advisory and expert positions in the government and the industry at large also have lower educational experience.
Kenya PhD Project will endeavor to guide qualified Kenyans in successfully taking up Funded PhD Programs in USA.

ABOUT US
Anchored on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal number 4, this project wishes to guide potential doctoral students in Kenya to access information on USA PhD Opportunities, with the clear objective of creating a service that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the process.
The project will extensively and continuously: review information provided by Doctoral Programs in USA; conduct qualitative research across potential PhD students in Kenya; identify gaps in the information and its access by the students; and update this portal with the most accurate and reliable information available.
This project will also give recommendations, to stakeholders and strategic partners, on the remedy of any gaps, so acknowledged, and assist in implementing strategies required to address them.
The ultimate goal is to have many Kenyan students enrolled to USA PhD Programs, with a view to address the inadequacy in Kenya.
